What's better than starting your morning with a delicious French toast? This delicious Crispy Brioche French Toast, with berries and a dash of maple syrup!

Ingredients for the Crispy Brioche French Toast

2 tablespoons of heart healthy* Mazola® Corn Oil**

6 large eggs

1½ cups milk1 tablespoon honey

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon salt

1 loaf of brioche bread

For serving:

Maple syrup

Strawberries

Blueberries

Raspberries

Confectioners’ sugar

How to make the Crispy Brioche French Toast

To begin, preheat the oven to 250 degrees.

Then, in a large shallow dish, whisk together the eggs, half-and-half, the honey, the vanilla extract and the and salt.

In the meantime, slice the brioche in 3/4-inch-thick slices. Soak as many slices in the egg mixture as possible for at least 5 minutes, turning them once.

Then heat 2 tablespoons of Mazola® Corn Oil** in a large sauté pan over medium heat.

Now we are ready to add the soaked bread and cook it for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, until it’s nicely browned.

Place the cooked Crispy Brioche French toast on a sheet pan and keep it warm in the oven.

Cook the remaining soaked bread slices

Finally, serve them hot with maple syrup, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and confectioners’ sugar.
