Ingredients
For the Chimichurri Sauce:
- 1 cup of thinly chopped Parsley
- 1 Shallot, thinly chopped
- 4 Garlic cloves, thinly chopped
- 1/2 tsp. dried spicy Peppers
- 2 tsp. Red Wine Vinegar
- 1.5 oz. Olive Oil
- Salt
Steak
- 1.5 lb. skirt Steak, 1/2″ thick
Directions
For the Chimichurri Sauce:
- Thinly chop the parsley, shallot and garlic.
- Mix them on a bowl.
- Add dried spicy peppers.
- Add a splash of red wine vinegar and the olive oil.
- Add salt to taste.
- Mix it all together.
For the steak:
- Oil and salt the steak.
- Grill 3-5 minutes on each side.
- Slice diagonal.
- Top with Chimichurri mix.
Pro Tips
Chimichurri sauce can be added to any grilled meat or fish. Try it on pizza as a condiment too!
