Ingredients
For the cake:
- 1 Box of Devil’s Food Cake Mix
- 3 Eggs
- 1/2 Cup of Corn Oil
- 1 Cup of Water
- 2 tbsp. ground Mexican Chocolate Bar
- 1 tbsp. powdered Cinnamon
For the fondant:
- 16 oz. Mini Marshmallows
- 2 lb. Powdered Sugar
Directions
For the cake:
- In a mixing bowl put all the ingredients and mix them well until they are completely incorporated.
- Pour the mixture on 2-6″ round greased cake pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes at 325°F.
For the fondant:
- In a microwavable bowl, melt 16 oz. of mini marshmallows with 3 tbsp. of water for 2 minutes.
- Mix well until they are all completely melted. Do not overcook.
- Add 2 lb. of powdered sugar, using spatula scrap the bowl and mix well.
- Pour mixture on a powdered sugar dusted surface and start kneading until fondant has a smooth consistency. If fondant is sticky you may add more powder sugar.
- Reserve in a plastic bag.
