Ingredients

For the cake:

  • 1 Box of Devil's Food Cake Mix
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1/2 Cup of Corn Oil
  • 1 Cup of Water
  • 2 tbsp. ground Mexican Chocolate Bar 
  • 1 tbsp. powdered Cinnamon

For the fondant:

  • 16 oz. Mini Marshmallows
  • 2 lb. Powdered Sugar

Directions

For the cake:

  • In a mixing bowl put all the ingredients and mix them well until they are completely incorporated.
  • Pour the mixture on 2-6" round greased cake pan.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes at 325°F.

For the fondant:

  • In a microwavable bowl, melt 16 oz. of mini marshmallows with 3 tbsp. of water for 2 minutes.
  • Mix well until they are all completely melted. Do not overcook.
  • Add 2 lb. of powdered sugar, using spatula scrap the bowl and mix well.
  • Pour mixture on a powdered sugar dusted surface and start kneading until fondant has a smooth consistency. If fondant is sticky you may add more powder sugar.
  • Reserve in a plastic bag.
