Steak with Chimichurri

Ingredients

For the Chimichurri Sauce:

  • 1 cup of thinly chopped Parsley
  • 1 Shallot, thinly chopped
  • 4 Garlic cloves, thinly chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. dried spicy Peppers
  • 2 tsp. Red Wine Vinegar
  • 1.5 oz. Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • Steak

    • 1.5 lb. skirt Steak, 1/2" thick
    • Directions

      For the Chimichurri Sauce:

      1. Thinly chop the parsley, shallot and garlic.
      2. Mix them on a bowl.
      3. Add dried spicy peppers.
      4. Add a splash of red wine vinegar and the olive oil.
      5. Add salt to taste.
      6. Mix it all together.
      7. For the steak:

        1. Oil and salt the steak.
        2. Grill 3-5 minutes on each side.
        3. Slice diagonal.
        4. Top with Chimichurri mix.

          Chimichurri sauce can be added to any grilled meat or fish. Try it on pizza as a condiment too!
