Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. Mussels
  • 5 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 bunch Fresh Parsley
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 1 cup White Wine
  • Lemon Zest

Directions

  • Rinse and clean the mussels before cooking.
  • In a pot or deep frying pan, sauté the chopped garlic for a few seconds, add the mussels, the white wine, let evaporate a little alcohol, cover and let cook for 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Allow mussels to open up for thorough cooking. Unopened mussels shouldn't be consumed.
  • Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve.
