- 1/2 bunch Fresh Cilantro
- 1 bunch Fresh Parsley
- 1 Onion
- 1 lb. Ground Beef
- Salt & Pepper
- 1 Egg
- 1-2 cups Flour
- Olive Oil
- 1 can Diced Tomatoes
- Mix meat, half a chopped onion, parsley and chopped cilantro, egg and a bit of flour, salt and pepper in a bowl.
- Form meatballs by hand, coat with flour and brown in a pan.
- Lower the heat and brown the other half of the chopped onion, add tomato, the meat balls and cook for 15 mins.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
The final touch…
Serve on top of a fresh bowl of fettuccini al dente.
What makes a great meatball?
First and foremost, try to pick the right meats. You can actually make meatballs out of any meat but the fattier meats tend to help you come up with more tender, juicer and flavorful meatballs. If you prefer less fat and use meats like turkey or chicken, just make sure you don’t overcook the meatballs or you are going to have a tough time swallowing them!
