Make these amazing Meringue Pears for dessert!

Ingredients

  • 4 pears
  • ½ cup Ricotta Cheese
  • 4 tbsp. of Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp. Powder Cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Clove
  • Sugar, as needed
  • 3 Egg Whites
  • ¾ cup Sugar
  • Directions

    1. Cut pears in halves and remove centers with spoon. In a bowl, mix ricotta, cinnamon, sugar and clove. Fill the pear halves with mixture.
    2. Make an Italian meringue and top each peach half with it.
    3. Place pears on greased pan face-up. Bake in oven at 350° F until tops are brown.
    4. Sprinkle with cinnamon and serve hot or cold.

      Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
