Well—home might be a stretch. But hometown? 100%.
For the final chapter of Mediocre Bunny All In: Puerto Rico, Niklaus pulled up to Vega Baja—the hometown of Bad Bunny himself.
And he didn’t just swing by.
From the Benito mural to his elementary school, to the beach where his announcement of the Benito Bowl was filmed, Mediocre Bunny went full fan mode—and then some.
Call it a pilgrimage. Call it a full-circle moment. Either way, this stop on the Mediocre Bunny All In journey hits different.
But let’s read it from Mediocre Bunny himself:
I’ve been sitting here trying to find the right words to describe what this entire experience meant to me… and the truth is, I don’t think I have them just yet.
In musicals, characters break into song when emotions become too big for spoken dialogue. When words alone aren’t enough to carry the moment. So… cue the orchestra, because I think I might need to do the same 
What started as one video of me learning Bad Bunny lyrics somehow turned into a journey that brought me all the way to Puerto Rico… and I will never, ever take that for granted.
There were so many moments when I had to stop, take it all in, and remind myself to be proud of how far I've come. I got to explore such a beautiful island, learn more about a culture that welcomed me so warmly, and create memories I’ll carry with me forever.
I’m incredibly grateful to Cocina for the opportunity to discover Puerto Rico, fall in love with the island, and express my creativity along the way. And more than anything, I’m grateful for all of you! Your support, encouragement, and belief in me make all of this possible.
The Mediocre Bunny has taught me so much, and I’m so excited for what’s next. But for now, I’m choosing to pause, be proud of how far I’ve come, and fully enjoy this moment.
