Fresh Caught Trout

Ingredients

  • 3 fresh-caught trout, cleaned and whole
  • 1 bulb Garlic, roasted
  • 2 Lime, sliced
  • 2 Red Fresno Chiles
  • ¼ bunch Fresh Thyme
  • ½ bunch Fresh Parsley
  • ½ bunch Fresh Tarragon
  • 1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ tsp Chile powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh Caught Trout With Aarón’s Signature Adobo

Steps

  1. Dress the fish generously with olive oil and season well with salt, pepper, and your choice of spices.
  2. Top with fresh herbs, lime, fresno chiles, and garlic. Seal the fish basket and place onto a hot grill.
  3. Grill fish until nicely browned on both sides, be careful not to overcook it or it will get dry!
  4. You can butterfly the fish and grill it or you can leave it whole and stuff the fish with garlic cloves, fresh herbs, and fresh citrus.
  5. Serve with fresh citrus wedges and enjoy!
