This easy and delicious recipe for mussels is popular throughout Latin America.

- 2 lbs. Mussels
- 5 Garlic Cloves
- 1 bunch Fresh Parsley
- Olive Oil
- Salt and Pepper
- 1 cup White Wine
- Lemon Zest
- Rinse and clean the mussels before cooking.
- In a pot or deep frying pan, sauté the chopped garlic for a few seconds, add the mussels, the white wine, let evaporate a little alcohol, cover and let cook for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Allow mussels to open up for thorough cooking. Unopened mussels shouldn’t be consumed.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve.
