Ingredients

For the guava syrup:

  • 1 cup Water
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 4 Guavas

For the cocktail:

  • 1 ½ oz. Tequila blanco
  • 1 ½ oz. Guava syrup
  • ½ oz. Lemon juice
  • 3 large Basil leaves
  • 1 dash Orange Bitters

Directions

For the guava syrup:

  1. Slice guavas in half. Combine with water and sugar, bring to a boil.
  2. Cook until fully incorporated then let cool.

For the cocktail:

  1. Muddle basil in shaker.
  2. Add all other ingredients to shaker.
  3. Shake with ice.
  4. Strain into rocks glass.
  5. Garnish with basil leaf.
