Ingredients
For the Dough:
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 stick Butter
- 2 Egg Yolks
- 1/3 cup Sweet White Wine
- 1/3 cup Cornstarch
- 1 tsp. Baking Powder
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
For the Filling:
- 2 tbsp. Butter
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 cup Grated Coconut
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 1/2 cup Dulce de Leche
Directions
- Put the sugar and the soften butter in a bowl. Add the egg yolks, wine and sifted flour with the salt, the cornstarch and the baking powder. Mix well and let sit for 10 minutes in the fridge.
- Combine the ingredients for the filling, slowly incorporating the eggs and milk.
- Layer a buttered mold with the dough, dulce de leche and the filling on top.
- Bake at 350°F for 45 mins. to 1 hr., until the filling is firm.
