These cold winter nights treat yourself to a hot cup of canelazo, a traditional holiday drink from Ecuador.

- 2 cups Water
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 1/2 oz. Lime juice
- 4 Cinnamon sticks
- 2 oz. Orange Juice
- 3 oz. Aguardiente
- Stir the water, sugar, lime juice and cinnamon stick, bring to a boil.
- Turn off the heat, then add the orange juice and aguardiente.
- Serve in an Irish Coffee Glass or Coffee Mug.
- Sugar rim one side of the the glass, orange slice, and cinnamon stick to garnish.
Remove the aguardiente for a kid-friendly version. Works great as a hot punch for a cold night!
